Bubblegum bottles.....Yum!

This is one of my favourite colour combination which I think compliment each other. As you can see from the picture,It reminds me of one of my fav sweets, blue & pink bubblegum bottles, similar to cola bottles, lol. The papers are My Minds Eye 'Darling Daughter'(no longer available) and the flower`s a stamp I coloured, glittered and layered. I inked the papers edges to tie it all together. Thanks for looking. STARS AND STRIPES

Hi all. Just a drizzle here today in Southampton, but blimey hasn`t it rained this week. The garden is so soggy and slippery, we`re dicing with a trip to A&E if we venture out there, lol. This bright card is for my godson who is thirteen on Wednesday. The paper`s and design is from 'Funky Hands' Funky word books cd-roms. I`m addicted to cd-roms. I love the fact that you always have papers and images whenever you want...you don`t have to worry about running out of your fav paper and having to make a trip to your local craft store...(although any excuse to visit a craft shop is fine with me....lol). Thanks for looking and your comments. Alison xx

'HE SEES YOU WHEN YOUR SLEEPING'

Well, so far so good... I said my personnel challenge was to make birthday cards on time and I`ve managed the first two of four this month...And (AT LEAST) 1 card for Christmas 2011 each week so here`s the first (of many I hope, lol), hope you like it. I would also like to say a big thankyou to Lola, for the lovely comments she said about me on her blog...(on December the 22nd) I haven`t felt 100% today, think I`ve got a little tummy bug :( and what with the kids going back to school and the Christmas tree etc coming down the weekend I felt really low until I read what she said about me...I don`t always trust my own crafting instincts and I more often then not, bin something I`ve made. But what you said Lola has made me think I have to stop listening to the gremlins in my head and listen to friends and family more, so I sincerely thank you Lola for that lovely boost of confidence you gave me today,If I could off I`d have given you a big hug,lol XXXX. AND ALSO, to my other, although only a few...(hopefully more to come!!) lovely friends on here, especially Sylvia,Vicky and Lee... your comments mean so much to me and I can`t tell you how much I appreciate them. So much so I`ve decided I`m going to come on my blog more regular and pop over to yours to, because I always feel 100% better when I do. Love and hugs to you all and here`s to a wonderfully happy, healthy, wealthy and most of all CRAFTY 2011,lol. XXXXXXXXX

Loopy Lucy`s Twelve

Hi all. Sorry I haven`t posted for a while...What with losing Mistletoe and one thing or another, I hadn`t really felt like making cards....But as you all know, the crafting bug keeps calling and I couldn`t resist anymore so I made this card for our closest friends daughter, Lucy. She`s now twelve and is a sandwich short of a picnic, lol. She is a lovely, funny, caring girl and is a credit to Jo and Paul, her mum and dad who`ve just had a baby...gorgeous Harry, who is soon to be our Godson :D

SUCH A SAD DAY.....DON`T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH MYSELF.

I was hoping to have made and published some Christmas cards on here today but instead I`m placing a picture of my beautiful, adorable cat Mistletoe....She was sadly run over and killed today.I`m absolutely devastated. I lost my other cat Ruby two years ago this month and if I`m honest still haven`t got over losing her either, although thankfully she wasn`t run over and at least I got to hold her while she slipped away. I`m now terrified to let my kitten Poppy out. She`s like my little shadow...she follows me everywhere and is so cuddly and affectionate with me...I couldn`t bare to lose her too...RIP Mistletoe...Loved you so much...we`ll miss you for ever xxxx
